How to find out your Outlook version

The simplest two ways are:

1. Look in the control panel and you could see something like this which tells you the version of MS Office/MS Outlook

2. This one is more accurate because versions change after installing office updates, see next picture this is taken from the same machine as used by point 1. You see the version differs.

By point 1 is the installed version and by point 2 is the installed version with all updates included.

Office 2010

Open Outlook 2010 and click File in the top left hand corner. Now click Help. The version type will be displayed on the right hand side.

Open Outlook 2010 and click File in the top left hand corner. Now click Office Account, then About Office 2010.

Office 2013

Open Outlook 2013 and click File in the top left hand corner. Now click Office Account, then About Office 2013. The version type will be displayed on the right hand side.

Open Outlook 365 and click File in the top left hand corner. Now click Office Account, then About Office 365. The version type will be displayed on the right hand side.
